With remote mixing and mastering, you can have your music mixed and mastered and ready for release no matter where you are in the world. I work from my studio in Stockholm, Sweden, and collaborate remotely with artists and bands worldwide.
Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to work with artists and bands from many different parts of the world. Some examples include the USA, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Spain, France, Norway, Finland, Brazil and Iceland.
Many of these collaborations started with a simple email and grew into long-term working relationships. Working remotely makes it easy to stay closely involved in the process while I take care of the technical and creative side of your mix or master.
Genres I Often Work With
I mainly work with rock, hard rock, alternative, punk and metal, and much of my experience comes from working with bands in these genres. I have also been in bands playing these genres for 35 years and they are very close to my heart.
At the same time, good music is good music. If your project falls outside these styles, you’re still very welcome to get in touch. I’m always open to working with artists from other genres as well.
How Remote Mixing Works
1. Send Your Tracks
Export your multitracks and send them using a file transfer service such as WeTransfer, Dropbox, or similar platforms. You can find more detailed information in my guide: How to Prepare your Tracks for Mixing
2. I Work on Your Mix
I mix your tracks in my studio, shaping the sound so the song feels powerful, balanced and cohesive.
3. Daily Feedback
Each day I send my progress back to you. You can listen, share your thoughts and request changes. This way you stay closely involved throughout the process.
4. Final Mix
When everything feels right, I deliver the final mix ready for mastering.
How Remote Mastering Works
Mastering is the final step before release and ensures that your music translates well across different playback systems.
Once I receive your mix in high-quality format, I work on the final polish, balancing the tonal character, controlling dynamics and making sure the track sounds powerful and clear while still preserving the musicality of the mix.
You will receive the mastered version and can request adjustments if needed before the final master is delivered.
